Photography:
Whether photographing a formal event or one with a more casual
flair, I look to create images that capture the essence of
the people involved: what makes them individuals and what
has brought them together as a couple. I strive to understand
these aspects and then portray those qualities in my photographs.
Laughter, a smile, a touch, a glint in one’s eye...all
these expressions preserve the memories of such a special
occasion.

Photography:
They say timing is everything. This is particularly true in
the art of sports photography. Proper photo equipment is important,
but a thorough understanding of the sport and the competitors
involved is absolutely essential to control timing. When photographing
a sporting event, I study the participants: the delivery of
a pitcher, the footwork and stroke of a tennis player. Being
able to anticipate the actions of an individual is essential
to a photographer's timing and the ability to capture that
perfect moment. |
